Holger Klus is a Professor of Software Engineering at IU International University of Applied Sciences, where he teaches software development and IT architecture management. Before joining academia, he worked as a lead software architect on numerous international machine learning projects, including large-scale anomaly detection in terabyte-scale datasets. He later worked as a lead enterprise architect, integrating machine learning solutions into an enterprise-wide IT portfolio. Subsequently, he worked as Head of IT at a mid-sized company and was among others responsible for the IT strategy. He now combines academic teaching with industry consulting in IT strategy and architecture.
